Raechel Warren and Janae Harris crowned Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska's Teen 2024 (2024)

After days of talent, fitness, evening gown and on-stage question competitions, Nebraska has crowned its 2024 Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen.

The 2024 Miss Nebraska, formerly Miss Douglas County, is Raechel Warren and the 2024 Miss Nebraska’s Teen is Janae Harris, formerly Miss Lincoln’s Teen.

Warren and Harris showed their elegance, determination, talent and pride of Nebraska throughout the three-day Miss Nebraska Scholarship Competition, truly earning their crowns.

“This is a dream come true,” Warren said, “it’s something I’ve worked so hard for and I’m just so grateful. Nebraska is my home and I am so honored to serve it and represent it.”

Warren said she is most excited to serve the kids of Nebraska and is partnering with Mentor Nebraska to make an impact on her home state.

“My goal is to hit all 249” Nebraska school districts, she said. “I know its a lofty goal, but I believe I can do it, and I just want to make an impact and show kids that they have a purpose and they matter.”

For Harris, the title of Miss Nebraska’s Teen means she’ll be able to share her community service initiative, “Made for More: Overcome and Inspire.”

“It means so much to be able to share ‘Made For More: Overcome and Inspire,’ and to be able to represent not only my family, but my entire state on the Miss America stage.”
