I was a pledge here for a couple weeks and I wanted to share my perspective after all of the recent allegations. The guys put on an act when girls are around, but when it’s just the guys they’re completely different people. They were extremely racist and hom*ophobic. They told us it was important to do things like buy girls Ubers to make it seem like we cared about their safety. When it was getting late and guys hadn’t found a girl they’d go after the drunkest looking girl because she’d be easiest to take upstairs. This is all stuff I figured out in the 2-3 weeks I was a pledge. Anyone in this frat is fully aware of what goes on and enables it.

The guys in this frat watch their page and report all negative reviews to try to get them removed. There were a bunch that just got removed. They also write positive reviews about themselves to try to bury the negative ones (come on guys it’s obviously you when your reviews immediately have several upvotes). I personally have friends who have been touched inappropriately here and other girls have spoken out about similar experiences recently too. Stay far away, it’s not a safe place to party and also not a place you should rush if you’re an incoming freshman.

Great fraternity to have fun at, I don’t get why people are giving it a bad rep from what people say anonymously.Especially if those people aren’t in Greek life and have never been to the house or met anyone from it. I’ve gone with groups of friends and my sorority sisters multiple times and have never had problems; there are always safe rides, tons of drinks, and the brothers are always easy to talk to. Just wanted to give my two cents, you can down vote and say I’m horribly wrong but I <3 Phi Psi.
